Intelibs Hybrid DAS (HDAS) is carrier- and technology-agnostic, and it’s designed for low power consumption so it can run from existing electrical circuits. Its fiber-to-the-antenna design suits buildings where coaxial cable can’t be installed.
The system uses a tree structure, from the head-end Radio Hub Unit (RHU) to the Fiber Hub Unit (FHU) to the remote units, which minimizes cable pathway space and lets you reuse existing fiber to deliver coverage.

RHU
Radio Hub Unit
Interfaces with carrier RF sources and converts RF signals to light for indoor and outdoor applications. Supports over-the-air links with dual-band or MIMO configurations, and can transport GPS alongside cellular RF.

MLU
Main Link Unit
Performs fiber conversion and RF signal conditioning, with 4 RF inputs and 1 fiber port, multiplexing high and low bands (400 MHz and 200 MHz of bandwidth) over a single fiber strand.

FHU
Fiber Hub Unit
Splits the optical signal one-to-four with active RF conditioning and gain balancing. Cascade a second layer of FHUs to reach up to 16 remote units.

MRU
Mid-power Remote Unit
Converts light back to RF and amplifies it for the DAS antennas, with two amplifiers for high and low bands (four bands in total) at up to 33 dBm each.

PIU
Point of Interface Unit
Conditions and attenuates the carrier signal with band-specific filter modules for duplex or simplex input. A combiner module merges up to four filter modules and splits the output to up to two MLUs.
